Just a quick reminder that we’re performing at Territorial tonight from 7 to 10pm (the time slightly shifted since our previous announcements). Don’t miss our special theme set celebrating singlehood — the “Thank God I’m Not in a Crappy Relationship” set! Thanks to all you wonderful fans who sent your song suggestions! Hope to see you there!
Valentine’s Day @ Territorial
February 17, 2008
Here’s your chance to participate in the creation of our show …
As most of you know, we’re playing at Territorial Vineyards’ downtown tasting room the second Thursday of every month. Well, whaddya know, for the month of February that happens to land on Valentine’s Day. So we thought we’d put a little twist on this Hallmark holiday and dedicate our third set to those who are celebrating their singlehood — we’re calling it the “Thank God I’m Not in a Crappy Relationship” set! But we need a little help choosing songs for this auspicious occasion … so we’re turning to you for suggestions. If you know of any fun, empowering, “I’m better off without you” songs that you’d get a kick out of hearing us play, please email your song suggestions to: booking@jackieandjason.com. Then mark your calendars and come on down to Territorial to see if your suggestion made it into the set!
Thanks, as always, for your ongoing support. We hope to see you soon!
CDs For Sale!
February 13, 2008
For the many masses out there who have been begging us, “Please Jackie & Jason! Where can we buy one of your CDs?” Well fret no more. We’re working on a CD of us performing together, but in the meantime, we have oodles of recordings from our previous solo careers that are just dying to find a good home. And in a bold new pricing experiment, we are simply putting them out there and saying, “Pay whatever you think it’s worth.” We’re not the first to try it, but we thought it was a cool idea. You’ll see them on display at our performances — if you want one, just take it and put an offering of your choice in the tip jar. It is said your luck (or at least your music collection) will multiply and prosper.
